Today was a rare ”glassy” day for the month of March. It was so calm that it lulled the fish to sleep!
Most of the boats headed back up the line this morning, well, except a few of us who ventured in the other direction. I’m not dissapointed in the area I fished, but our luck was just terrible today. We had 15 quality trolling strikes, and managed to land two 30 lb. yellowfins out of it all. It was a beautiful day none the less, and my group enjoyed themselves. On the way in we stopped and snapped some shots of a basking shark, probably 20-22 ft. in length, and 2000 lbs. or so.<s<
