We had a great day of Hatteras offshore fishing, and even better weather. The highlight of my day came at the end when 9 year old Cole skippered the Godspeed home.
We had a little bit of variety today, we bailed some
dolphin, caught four or five nice gaffers, up to 25 pounds, and caught six out of ten
wahoo bites. There wasn't much of a billfish bite today, but there was a smattering of
wahoos up and down the line. I had a new group today, and teased with them about how quiet they were all day, but they were all smiles, and seemed to have a great time. I spent the ride home chatting with my new friend Cole, who is an awesome little guy. He caught a couple of
dolphin and a wahoo himself! Thanks again Mike, can't wait to see you guys again.
