Today was cool and comfortable thanks to a breezy northeaster, but the fishing was still pretty slow.
First of all, I think I snapped the coolest sunrise pics of the year this morning. Lots of color. Anyway, I headed to the south and fished that direction all day in the hopes of finding some
dolphin, but it just didn't work out. We found a couple of pretty good grass lines, but very few bites. We did catch a nice blackfin tuna on the way out, and three
dolphin all day offshore. We had a couple of mystery bites, and lost one
wahoo just before the gaff. Elsewhere, there was still a fair number of
sailfish seen, but slim pickins on everything else. Thanks guys, and Dink, hopefully I'll see you next year!
