It was another perfect day for Hatteras offshore fishing!

As soon as we set our lines out this morning, we had a school of dolphin up. We caught 15 or so, and then it was a long dry spell. I think the majority of our fleet went south to try some marlin fishing, and from the reports I heard, it was good fishing. We did raise a sailfish, but that was our only encounter, and we covered a lot of ground. Late in the afternoon, I found a current rip that was holding some dolphin, and we managed to catch 40 more to make our day. All's well that ends well!
