We had a 10-15 knot northeaster that helped keep things a little cooler today. It didn't bother the fishing though, that was still hot!
I had the pleasure of spending the day with a few teenagers today, and enjoyed seeing them excited about Hatteras offshore fishing. We caught our limit of dolphin again today, mostly bailers, and a couple of nice gaffers. I happened to be in the area of an amberjack spot, so we finished up with some vertical jigging. They all had a ball, especially Madison who snagged a BIG sea bass on her jig! Thanks so much John, and I look forward to the next one!
