Fishing was great offshore today.

You never know what to expect offshore, and things change so quick that the report from the previous day sometimes means nothing. Still, after hearing about slow fishing yesterday, I was rtelieved when we caught our first fish, a 48 pound citation size wahoo! It's always nice to get the skunk out of the box early. Anyway, we went on to catch a total of three wahoos, all pretty nice size, and all the dolphin the party wanted. The dolphin we found were big bailers and small gaffers, and they were hungry. My buddy Mike, who had already gotten lucky with a citation wahoo, showed interest in trying for a billfish, so wouldn't you know, he managed to get a second citation when he released a sailfish! Some guys are just lucky. Thanks for a great day guys.
