I've been off for a week...sorry, it wasn't intentional. It was good to be back to work on a beautiful day offshore!

There was a varitey of action today, scattered dolphin and wahoos in the shallows, and a fairly good sign of bills out a little further. We had plenty of bites today, but as luck sometimes goes, didn't hang on to many of them. We did have a saifish get after a teaser, but wouldn't make the switch to a bait. Next we hooked some sort of unidentified sea monster that we fought for 45 minutes before pulling the hook out. Working back inshore, we had four or five wahoo bites, that we managed to miss or pull off...ugh. We did hang on to a handful of dolphin, so we managed to get dinner covered anyway. Tomorrow our luck will be better!
