We had great action today!
We got lucky this morning and found two "mega schools" of
dolphin, which enabled us to catch our limit pretty early. I got a report of some pretty good blackfin tuna action, so I worked out in that direction. It was a little rough where that action was taking place, but we still pounded them for about an hour to get my group a good mess of tuna. They weren't jumbo's by any stretch, but big enough. There was a better sign of bills today, as there was a more concentrated effort on them. Today was day #1 of the "Hatteras Grand Slam" tournament. Tomorrow is supposed to be a pretty day, so hopefully the fishing will hold up too!
