The gaffer dolphin fishing was the hottest of the action, and we wound up with another nice catch, including one that just fell short of the 35 pound citation mark. There was some good blackfin tuna action further to the east of where I fished, along with an occasional wahoo. Today was the first day of the Hatteras Village Offshore Open, and there were a few blue marlin encounters too.
