It just doesn't get any nicer than it was out there today.

The trolling bites were few, and the current was slack, so we dropped to the bottom and put together a nice catch of sea bass, triggerfish, and b-liners (vermillion snappers). For table fare, it doesn't get much better than bottom fish. Everybody had fun, and I even got to catch one or two! There was a random wahoo bite around the fleet, which was better than the day before, and just a couple of dolphin. One white marlin would be all the billfish caught in the charter fleet, although a private boat did catch a blue as well.
