We happened to hit the right spot this morning, and made our day in short order.
We had a spectacular light show this morning from heavy thunderstorms offshore, but fortunately, they continued to move further off and didn't affect us. We got on a streak of grass just shy of 40 fathoms, and found two different schools of
dolphin, providing us with the opportunity to catch our limit. They were a nice class of fish, big bailers, with an occassional small gaffer mixed in. I didn't venture offshore much further, but we caught one out of two or three
wahoo bites as we trolled. We wrapped it up a little early to assist a couple of the group that felt under the weather. Great day!
