Northwest Wind

I'd say fishing was pretty fair, there was a little bit of action going on all day.

The wind was out of the northwest this morning, at a pretty fair clip. My group fished with another charter yesterday, and had all the dolphin they wanted, so upon their request, we tried to target other species. They thought I knew what I was doing when we set our lines out and caught three out of four wahoos right away! I worked off in the deep to find that blue marlin, but it was pretty choppy, and the wind had the grass streaked out so bad it was hard to fish. We did give it a pretty good try for the morning, but no billfish sightings. We did catch four gaffer dolphin in our travels. In the afternoon, we suggested the jigging poles for something different, and it was no dissapointment. Plenty of rod bending with some amberjacks for some afternoon action. Throughout the fleet, I heard of three or four other wahoos, a couple of tunas, scattered dolphin, and one blue marlin encounter. See you tomorrow!
