Outer Banks Fishing ReportMay
15 Conditions were just about like yesterday, and things started out pretty crazy.
As soon as we started, the gaffer dolphin hit us a couple of times, and we managed to catch a handful of them. While we were getting re-rigged from the dolphin wham, I got my eye on some tunas and bonitas busting up ahead of my boat. We had seven lines out when they hit us, and we managed to land four yellowfins and a bonita out of it. It was a great morning, although from then on things were quite slow for us. In the afternoon, I did hear of a couple wahoo bites up in the greener water, so I trolled through there, since it was on the way. We had a couple bites, but nothing that I thought may have been a wahoo or tuna.< ![]() ![]() ![]() Fishing Blog Archive
