We had a pretty good dose of good luck today. Nothing like calm seas and good fishing.
I headed up to the east of most of the fleet, and it turned out to be a good decision because I found a grass line / color change that had a pretty good sign of
dolphin along it. Since it was a Saturday, and nice weather, there were a lot of boats out, and a lot of boats fished on the same condition, but we wound up east of the majority of boats. We wound up catching our limit of dolphin, half bailers, and half small gaffers, 6-15 pounders. We worked offshore in the afternoon and caught one
yellowfin and one blackfin tuna. It sounded like overall, fishing wasn't quite as good as yesterday, we just happened to hit it right.
