Finally, I can report about the fishing, because I was there!

I went south today, simply because it hasn't been checked out in a while. We caught a couple nicer blackfins pretty quick, and I thought we were gonna be in for some good action. The albacores took over, and the blackfins shut off, so I worked offshore, hoping for a hail mary on some yellowfins in the deep. We didn't find any yellowfins, but we got whammed by the 60-80 pound bluefins, and caught six of them. The law says we can only keep two, so the other four were released. It was good action for a while! It was a pretty day, and I'm ready for some more!
