Outer Banks Fishing ReportSep
29 Today was windy, as expected, but the fishing was still just as good.
It blew out of the north-northeast 25 plus all day, fortunately there was little current, and the sea conditions were managable. Don't get me wrong, it was still plenty rough. Our first bite of the day was a sailfish, so that was a great start. After that we had lots of wahoo bites, more than yesterday, but with the sea conditions as they were, we had trouble hanging on to a lot of them. We still wound up with seven wahoos and one king mackerel to go along with our sailfish release. It was a great day. I tried to snap a shot to show how windy it was! I have plenty of weekdays open through the fall, so let's go fishing! ![]() ![]() ![]() Fishing Blog Archive
