Today I had a group from just up the road, well, a couple hours up the road. Anyway these North Carolinians had some good
dolphin and
wahoo action.
I was fortunate to find some grass patches that were holding a few
dolphin this morning, because the northeast wind had most of the grass blown out and all streaked up, making it almost impossible to pull a stand of baits through it. Anyhow, we managed to bail a half a limit of dolphin before we got serious about
wahoo fishing. Our batting average was pretty good, we were six out of seven on the
wahoos, then we missed the next four or five before I was asked to head in. All in all, these guys had a good day of fishing, and plenty to take back to Williamston.
