Outer Banks Fishing ReportJul
25 Today was even better than yesterday, fishing wise and weather wise. The morning ride out was an adventure as we observed a number of waterspouts (tornado over water) touch down.
We did the number on the dolphin again this morning, limiting out in fairly short order. When I posed the question to my party about what they would like to fish for next, they seemed more interested in meatfish than marlin, so we deployed the wahoo spread. It went well, we landed seven out of eleven wahoo bites, and a king mackerel to boot. I snapped a few shots this morning of the ominous looking weather.
