The ocean was slick, and the temperature was scorching, but the fishing was pretty hot too!
This morning, I got a report of a grass line off in the deep, so I kept her going till I found it. There were
dolphins on it, but they aggrivated me so bad that I gave up after about 15 fish. Nothing worse than seeing fish and not being able to get them to bite. Anyway, I worked back in to the break to try my hand at the
wahoo fishing, which wasn't as good today as it has been, but we still had some bites. We landed three
wahoos and a
king mackerel as we hunted up the 30-35 fathom break. I got my eye on some grass patches east of the fleet, and came upon the stupidest school of big bailers in the world. It was automatic. Just add water. Anyhow, we finished off our limit and enjoyed the slick calm afternoon.<scr
