For June, it was a pretty cool day, thanks to a 15 knot north breeze. Fishing wasn't red hot, but it was good enough.
About everywhere you went, you stood a chance of getting a bite from a gaffer
dolphin. I would have liked to have seen more bites, but we got lucky and held on to most of the ones that did bite, totalling up to nine nice sized gaffers. In the afternoon, we had a few
wahoo bites and caught two of them as well. We did have a brief encounter with a
sailfish, that got the better of us, and there were several other
sailfish bites around the fleet.
