You can expect a crowd on a slick calm Saturday in June. Fortunately there was enough fish for everybody.
The change had continued to push offshore, so I wound up fishing over 400 fathoms most of the day, and by the afternoon, was back in to 150, but the
dolphin fishing remained good, in spite of the vast number of boats. We wound up fishing behind a crowd, but still managed to come home with a real nice catch of big
dolphin. There was a pretty good sign of billfish around today, but we never had a shot.
