Outer Banks Fishing ReportJun
12 I could get used to this weather, calm seas and cool breeze.
Fishing was about like yesterday, an occassional bite, mostly gaffer dolphin, and a few wahoos. there were a number of sailfish raised in the shallows, and it sounded like for the boats out in the deep, blue marlin fishing, there was a fair sign of bites for them too. It's hard to tell, there were a lot of boats out there. Anyway, we scratched along on a few gaffers and a couple wahoos, till I found a pallet floating with a lot of bait around it. We managed to make our day there, and finished up with seven wahoos and ten or so dolphin, half gaffers and half bailers. Another great day! ![]() ![]() Fishing Blog Archive
