The weather wasn't the greatest today, but fishing was pretty good.
The ocean was a little choppier today than I expected, thanks to 25 knots of northeast wind against a knot and a half of current. We hung in there for the bulk of the day, and scrapped out a handful of nice fish. We landed three
yellowfins, and had a couple other tuna bites. We also hung on to a half dozen nice gaffers, and missed quite a few others. All morning there was a big ol' black thunderstorm hanging around, that just wouldn't go away, so by the early afternoon, I started trolling inshore. The winds had increased, and the storm was closing in on us. We had quite a few
king mackerel bites, and landed six of them too. Thanks<
