Outer Banks Fishing ReportApr
9 We had plenty of bites today, but our luck was pitiful. I was happy, as always, to catch what we caught, but I hate to see fish get away!
The boats that fished on Easter Sunday had excellent catches of tuna dolphin and wahoo. Of course, my group was there to see them unload, so they had high expectations for today. Overall the fishing was pretty scrappy. We, however had as many bites as anybody, but couldn't hang on to the majority of our bites. We landed two wahoos and a couple gaffer dolphin for the day. There was a good showing of mako sharks around, and I know that we hooked atleast five. We had a couple tuna bites and several other wahoo bites that either missed the hook, or got away. I am glad that it was a beautiful day though, I'll take some more of those!<sc ![]() ![]() Fishing Blog Archive
