Two For One

Due to a temporary internet failure, I wasn't able to post my last two day's fishing reports. Both days were with the same group, so now you get a ''two for one''!

Fortunately, I had a pretty salty bunch of guys the last two days because Wednesday started out rough, and only got worse. It was stormy (that's why my computer stuff was down), and windy, but we did have a few bites. We landed two nice wahoos (35 and 37 pounds), and a 50b pound yellowfin. Our average, considering the quality bites we had, wasn't very good, but when it's blowing 30, it's not surprising.<BR>Day two brought much improved conditions. It was windy out of the north in the morning, but seemed to be getting better, so we gave it a shot. By the time we put the lines in the water, it was north-northeast at about 16-18. It only got nicer as the day went on, and by the afternoon, there wasn't even a whitecap. There was only a couple of us out, and I think everybody had a pretty nice catch. We wound up catching two yellowfins, one of which was close to 60 pounds, five wahoos, and a few kings. Three of the wahoos were pretty nice size, the biggest of the three was 42, and the smallest was 38. Beautiful catch guys!
