I pondered over what to title this report. I had so many options, but I decided to title it after the sea conditions.

We were uncertain if we would even make the trip, with a pretty nasty forcast. The winds, however, were not too bad this morning, so four of us gave it a shot. We tried to spread out to get as much coverage as possible, me being the southern most boat. As the morning progressed, the winds, out of the south, went from 20 to 30-35, making it difficult to work, and fish where we wanted to. I worked to the southwest, considering my angle for home, and had a few wahoo bites, hanging on to two of them. One was a citation, 42 pounder. The other three boats were further to the northeast, and had some tuna action. One boat landed six, one landed ten or so, plus a bluefin, and the third boat didn't catch any yellowfins, but did wrestle a couple nice bluefins to the boat at the end of the day. I was encouraged to see some action, and feel like with a little nicer weather, we would have done real well. It's nice to have something to report for a change!<scri
