I think I probably get more emails about the boat I'm building than the fishing, so here is an update of this week's progress.

Weather permitting, we will be in the ocean tomorrow, and hopefully I'll have a real fishing report for you, but for now, those of you who are interested will have to be content with boat building pictures. This week I built the deck beams for my bow deck, and fitted them. Next I sprayed the inside of the hull with epoxy paint, to seal the wood. I installed the deck beams and began building the bow deck. Screwed and glued, and dried, I took out the screws this morning, ground the deck, filled the holes, and belt sanded the shear clamp where the bow deck meets it. Next will be decks. Stay tuned!
