Today worked out to be wonderful. I finally got to take my son offshore for the first time!

We were all set to go on our first commercial kingfishing trip of the year, and of all things, there was no school today. We had no sitter for Simon, so I woke him up at 5:00, and took him fishing. It was perfect weather, almost slick calm, and the fishing was good too. We wound up with close to 1000 pounds for the day. The tuna fishing was pretty good for the boats that had trips.<
