Gale warnings were posted from 2:00 this afternoon, so we were pleasantly surprised to get the day in.

After yesterday, the bulk of the fleet ran back out southeast of the tower, but with the forcast, winds increasing to SW 30-35, I didn't want to get too far up the line and have to deal with a whipping going home. A couple of boats fished on up a ways, and fortunately the wind didn't really get too bad until we were in. They found some nicer class yellowfins up there. There was also a scattered tuna bite about everywhere you went today, the boats to the south did fine too. I was kinda in the middle, as were a bunch of boats, and didn't exactly set the world on fire. We did catch four decent size tunas, and a couple that were too small. There was a good sign of wahoos to the south, along with the tunas, so there is hope for great fishing after this blow. I've got a couple of days open next week, so round up your group and lets go!<scrip
