Outer Banks Fishing ReportApr
10 After my last report, I thought that it would be appropriate to name this one after the challenging seas we faced today. Rough or not, the fishing wasn't half bad.
The forcast was for light Northeast winds, 10-15. Yeah, right, it blew 20-25 all day. At least they got the direction right. Anyway, the morning was slow for most everyone, so I worked way south, after all, the ride home was gonna be fine with the light winds and all. Well, we did catch a nice wahoo working down the break, and when the fleet started picking away at the yellowfins 25 miles up the beach, there wasn't much I could do but work that way and hope for the best. We got hit twice by the 50 pound tunas, two out of three the first time, and one out of four the second. We definately went for quality today. We'll see what tomorrow brings. Looks like the next few days should be real nice. Need trips for Wed. - Sat. ![]() ![]() ![]() Fishing Blog Archive
