We hoped for more of the same, and got it! Another gorgeous spring day in Hatteras.
I love it when it's calm. It's just easy on the body! Things hadn't changed much from yesterday, as far as the fishing goes, but sometimes it's a little harder to get tuna bites when it's slick. Anyway, for the morning, we scrapped out seven
yellowfins, and four nice size
dolphin. The afternoon was pretty sparse for me, I wandered up and out, just looking around, and found some life out in the deep, but no nibbles. There were a few bites in the afternoon on the southern end of the fleet, but all in all, I feel like we had one of the better catches for the day. There was a scattered
wahoo bite, and there were a few
blue marlin encounters. Also, there was a greater sign of dolphin, and I think after this weekend, its gonna bust loose. Take advantage of it!<scri
