Well, for a day that was supposed to be windy, fortunately, the weather man was wrong! It was a beautiful day offshore, and the fishing wasn't half bad either!
I headed to the south again, and wasn't rigged up too good for what was to come. Before we could get switched over to some wire leaders, the
wahoos had clipped off three of our tuna rigs! We got squared away and managed to capture three wahoos, the biggest weighing 47 pounds, and four nice
yellowfins. We had several other
wahoo bites, and pulled the hook on one that was HUGE! That stinks, but you can't get 'em all! One boat did fish up to the east a ways and had four nice tunas as well.
