The weather was picture perfect today, and the king mackerels bit pretty hard.

Some of the guys went tuna fishing, and found hot water, and a lot of current...no tuna bites. I stayed a little closer to home, and went for the kings. We caught a couple, first thing, on planers, and quickly switched over to the 20 pound tackle for some top water action. We didn't have live bait, but jigging ballyhoos worked just fine, and we had no trouble limiting out. I drug a big bait around for a couple hours, hoping for a bluefin bite, while searching out some croakers, but nothing ever transpired. Another fun trip!<s<sc
