If you were thinking about going fishing this weekend, you should have. The weather was great today, and so was the fishing. Tomorrow should be more of the same.

As far as I know, only one boat went yellowfin fishing today, and he caught his limit. Fishing is as good now as it'll be all year. Anyway, we commercial fished yesterday and today. Yesterday, I had to get in early for an appointment, so we only got to fish in the morning. The fish we caught were bigger, but they never turned on till after I had gone in. We wound up with 350 pounds. Today, the fish were smaller, but they bit better, and we caught 1,150 pounds. If you wanted to go live bait mackerel fishing, I believe it would be good action. There were a few bluefin sightings, and one legal fish caught this morning, in the bluefin fleet.
