Outer Banks Fishing Report

Nov
2
We were somewhat limited in what we could do today, due to weather. The north wind that was forcasted got here in full force!

Siince they were calling for a 25 knot wind, we knew that we didn't want to be too far from home when it got here. We started out east of the tower, looking for a tuna, but the current was still running hard to the northeast, and we only had one bite. One boat caught two or three tunas about twelve miles southwest of me, so I jogged back down the beach, at least it was closer to home. We didn't have much luck there either, just one out of two blackfins. I did get an invitation to a float with some dolphin around it, and we caught ten, so that helped out a lot. By 1:00 it was blowing 30 and we had to call it a day. Glad to get out, and glad to get in!
