Today was the first day back since the big blow. The weather turned out to be nice, but the fishing was spotty.

The long and the short of it was this. In a fleet of 30 boats, you could catch 'em or not. I heard of boats with as few as none, and as high as a dozen or more. We had a few bites first thing this morning, and caught two, and then went five hours without a bite! We finally had a handful of bites near the end of the day, and caught three more, but they were a long time coming. We also caught a dolphin to go along with our five yellowfin. I heard of pretty good dolphin fishing to the south, and there were a few kings caught on live bait east of the shoals.
