A slick calm mornig turned rough in a hurry, thanks to a southeast wind.
The forcast was for an increasing southeaster, with gale warnings up for this evening, so I knew that tuna fishing was not going to be an option. I had some kids in my group, and we really wanted to find some fish for them to catch, so we decided to look around for some kings. It didn't take long for the wind to start picking up, and the seas to begin building, so we made a half day out of it. We caught a handful of kings and a couple of handfuls of false albacore. Everybody got to catch a couple of fish, so it turned out to be a good morning. Tomorrow looks sorta bad, so it's doubtful that I'll have a report for you.<s
