Rather Rugged

I gave my group the option this morning, and they wanted to go, so away we went. It was as rough as I expected, but the fishing was good.

After the ''Thanksgiving Week Storm'', 50+ knot winds, no power for two days, preparing Thanksgiving dinner with a generator, I was ready to get out there, but we knew it was gonna be a handful. My group only had one day they could go, and said they wanted to go if I would take them. It was looking a little shakey at first, but the sick ones healed, and a little before lunchtime we started getting a few bites. First a wahoo, and then a tuna ''cover up''. As we were about to get the last of five tunas we caught out of that ''wham'', a blue marlin got after the tuna. It was a sight to see, a 500 pounder all lit up. Fortunately, he wasn't successful, and on a day like today, I didn't really want to wrestle with him. Anyway, we had good tuna fishing for the afternoon, and wound up with 15 yellowfins. I keep saying it, but people need to get down here to fish!
